In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Laguna Bay Developing Inc. “You” means anyone who visits one of our pages or submits one of our forms.
What we collect
Information you give us
When you submit a consultation, estimate or lot review request, we collect only what the form asks for:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your email address
- The property address or city, on pages where the request concerns a specific lot or home
- Anything else you choose to tell us in a message, by phone, by text or by email
We do not ask for and do not want financial account numbers, Social Security numbers, or copies of identity documents. Please do not send them through our forms.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our pages record basic technical information when you visit:
- IP address and approximate region
- Device type, browser and operating system
- Pages viewed, time on page and the link or advertisement that brought you here
- Advertising click identifiers, when you arrive from a paid search or display ad
How we use your information
- To call, text or email you back about the project you asked about
- To schedule an in-home consultation or site visit
- To prepare and send you a written, line-item estimate
- To answer questions and keep you updated if you become a client
- To measure which of our advertisements and pages produce genuine inquiries, so we spend the advertising budget sensibly
- To keep records we are required to keep as a licensed contractor, and to comply with the law
By submitting a form you agree that we may contact you about your project by phone, text message and email. Message and data rates may apply. You can ask us to stop at any time — see Your choices.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose it only in these situations:
- Service providers who operate our website, hosting, email and customer records on our behalf, and who may only use the information to provide that service to us.
- Analytics and advertising platforms — principally Google Analytics and Google Ads — which receive usage and conversion data as described below.
- Trade partners we assign to your project, and only the details they need to reach you and reach the property.
- When the law requires it — for example a court order, a subpoena, a building department request, or to protect our legal rights.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
Our pages use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, and Google Ads conversion tracking to record when a form submission or a phone call results from one of our advertisements. These services set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser.
You can control this:
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
- Install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Adjust your Google Ads personalization settings.
We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals sent by your browser as a request to opt out of sale or sharing, to the extent required by California law.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry details for as long as needed to respond to you and, if you become a client, for as long as the project record and our contractor record-keeping obligations require. If a request does not turn into a project, we keep the details for up to three years so we can pick up the conversation if you come back, and then remove them. You may ask us to delete them sooner.
Your choices
- Stop contact. Tell us by phone, text or email and we will stop. Reply STOP to any text message to stop texts.
- Correct your details. Ask us and we will fix them.
- Delete your details. Ask us and we will delete them, unless we are required to keep a record.
California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, gives you the right to:
- Know what personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, why we collected it and who we disclosed it to.
- Delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We do not sell or share it, so there is nothing to opt out of — but the right stands.
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not collect sensitive personal information as that term is defined by the CCPA.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights. We will not refuse you service, change your price, or give you a lower standard of work because you exercised a privacy right.
To exercise any of these rights, call (949) 516-0568 or email lagunabaydeveloping@gmail.com with “Privacy request” in the subject line. We will verify your identity by matching the details you give us against what we hold, and we will respond within 45 days. An authorized agent may make a request on your behalf with written permission.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information you send us. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our services are directed to homeowners and property owners. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date above.
